Samba(2016) is an art gallery in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Up until 2024, it focused on the secondary market, the resell of works from already renewed artistsIn 2024 its owners took the decision to venture into the primary market — representing and exhibiting new and upcoming artists — and for this bold move, we developed a new visual identity system that could support them in this new journey.  

The typography-and-color-based visual identity allows the gallery to keep it's consistency while also creating space for a lot of exploration and variation between the quietness of the gallery as a white cube or the loudness of an art-driven and provoking institution.
